It has a low-profile base which I love for the aesthetic, but just make sure your bed isn't super high. It fits my platform bed perfectly, but might be a bit low for traditional tall frames.

Most companies skip the finish on the back, but not here. The back is beautifully finished too, so you could even use it in a spot where the back is visible. No rough edges anywhere.
